Marjolijne Apituley

After studying at the ArtEZ pop academy, Marjolijne discovered how much she enjoys teaching music. She went on to study Music Teacher with voice as her main subject at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Since then she has gained experience in and around The Hague with private and duo lessons, small groups and the occasional choir.

In her lessons, what motivates you is the starting point. From there you work together on healthy posture and vocal development, so you can express your own voice from a place of confidence. You learn to use your voice in a healthy, free way, discover your own sound across different styles, and work on creativity and expression: emotion, colour and personal delivery.

A warm, relaxed atmosphere comes first. Marjolijne has a personal approach with enthusiastic, laid-back energy, so you feel heard and seen in a lesson tailored to your musical wishes. Whether you are just starting out or already have some experience, clear exercises help you learn to trust a sustainable technique and your own unique sound.

Your own creative ideas are very welcome. When you are ready, she will challenge you to experiment with different styles within pop music, with songwriting, performing or singing in harmony, so you keep taking the next step.
